What NFC Team’s Fans will be Buying Super Bowl Tickets
San Francisco 49ers are back in the NFC Championship Game and ready to make the giant leap back to their days as a Super Bowl winning dynasty. The Atlanta Falcons plays the 49ers thanks to another signature come from behind victory. How many times have you seen the Falcons keep their heads out of the jaws of defeat? Winning in the last possible moment has been Atlanta’s calling card for the NFL Regular Season, and it was more of the same in their lone NFL Playoff game. Against the most dangerous team in the NFL Playoffs then the Seattle Seahawks, the Falcons punched the Seahawks’ tickets home with another last second miracle finish and a win by the score 30-28. The 49ers versus the Falcons make interesting foes for a chance to play in the Super Bowl. Either team, they would make Super Bowl XLVII Packages Tickets worth the purchase for their fans.
49ers have been the most balanced team in the NFL. Their running game is led by the big Frank Gore. However, the newest wrinkle for the running game does not involve a different running back or offense scheme, but it’s the legs of dual threat quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick’s running ability will make the 49ers’ offense dangerous and unpredictable.Atlanta does not play well against the run; therefore, fans should see a lot more of Gore on the ground. The passing game will see some action, but I look for Randy Moss who can still beat the secondary deep to be an X-factor for the game. Michael Crabtree is the 49ers’ best receiver and expect big day from him. Tight end Vernon Davis has not been a big factor in the NFL Playoffs thus far, but he may have enough of an impact to help win the NFC Championship.
San Francisco has best defense left in the NFL Playoffs. Their main objective is to stop Atlanta’s passing game. It will not be an easy task considering the receiving corps have Roddy White, Julio Jones and the future Hall of Famer tight end Tony Gonzalez. 49ers have the players to pressure Matt Ryan, and they will need to get Matty Ice out of rhythm. Therefore, Aldon Smith should find a way to a few sacks.
Atlanta’s offense is all about their passing game. Matt Ryan is quite skilled and as mentioned earlier, when you have receiving corps he has to throw to you will always be in the game. He cannot get off to a slow start or it will be one and done for the Falcons. The running game will have a tough time against one of the best defenses against the run this season. Michael Turner is capable running back, and it would be great to have a solid game to take some of the pressure off Ryan. Falcons’ offense is not turnover- prone; therefore, they are not likely to beat themselves.
Falcons on defense will have to stop dual threat Kaepernick. The read option scheme could be a pain in the backside of the defense, but they must slow him down. When you consider their track record against stopping the read-option, it is quite shaky. Teams like the Redskins and the Carolina Panthers ran the ball successfully using the read-option. It will be difficult to stop San Francisco.
Both are good teams and both are known to have hiccup or two and not play their best game. I do not see that happening in this week NFC Title game. San Francisco plays well on both sides of the ball and with Kaepernick under center, I predict the 49ers will win the game 24-21. Therefore, 49ers fans get your wallets and purses out, because you will be buying your 2013 Super Bowl Tickets.
