Tim Tebow is officially a New York Jet. He has held his Press Conference earlier today. If you manage to catch it, you know he very thankful for being a New York Jet. The questions on many Jets’ fans minds Will he make New York better, and can Mark Sanchez and Tebow coexist? Tebow is picked up to run the Wildcat offense, but they are many saying he will get at least 20 snaps in game.
Twenty snaps for Tebow, it could disrupt the offense or momentum. Wildcat can be effective, but it really will help if opposing offenses will consider Tebow a passing threat. Tebow will help the Jets run game, but he must improve his passing to truly make the Wildcat truly package that will help the offense of the Jets. It difficult to think Tebow will actually push Sanchez for the starting position. However, the Jets are in a bad spot if Tebow has to come in play quarterback for an extended period of time. Sanchez like Tebow must become a more accurate passer. Throwing over 20-plus picks is not a good look; therefore, Sanchez must make big leap forward in becoming a better quarterback. Both Tebow and Sanchez have been winners especially Sanchez during the NFL Playoffs.
Tebow will get a lot of attention in the City that never sleeps. He may be thrown to the wolves if he is not productive in his first season in the Big Apple. New York has little patience for struggling. Tebow said all the right things in his Press Conference but it will really hit the fan next season.
