UConn Huskies Turn Butler’s Hope to Mush and Wins National Title

Kemba Walker and the UConn Huskies would not be denied a National Championship on Monday night. The 53-41 score was enough for Jim Calhoun to become only the fifth coach to win at least three National Titles as he won his third national title. Huskies was the hottest team coming into March Madness, and they rode it all the way to a National title.

The game was not a dogfight; in fact, Butler’s offense was the worst in a National Championship game’s history. It is impossible to imagine that a team can shoot 19 percent a game; however, the Bulldogs did just that. The Huskies played good defense, but it was poor shooting that ultimately led to Butler losing a second consecutive title game. Twelve made field goals for an entire game as a team was the wrong night to have an atrocious shooting night.

NCAA Championship Game Goes to the Dogs

Mankind best friends will be at the center of attention on Monday night, because the NCAA Men Basketball Championship game has gone to the dogs as both the Connecticut Huskies will face the Butler Bulldogs. Both teams have some outstanding back story to go with their quest for a National title. Kemba Walker and the Huskies have won ten consecutive games and Butler will make their second consecutive trip to the National Title game. The NCAA Final Four has been all it was hyped up to be and now the two teams Butler and UConn will play for it all on Monday night.

Kemba Walker is the Top Dog at UConn

I have to ask is there anyone out there that can guard Kemba Walker of the Connecticut Huskies. This guy has been virtually unstoppable. Scoring, he is definitely getting it in. He is junior guard who has basically put the Huskies on his back.

Before anyone passes him off as a just shooter, he has shown with the triple double of 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists that he is a force in every facet of the game. I know it is early into the season but 29.1 points per game is a basketball fan’s conversation starter. He is leading the nation in scoring.
