The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens have the Early Bird Game in the NFL Week 2. Yes, it is Thursday night and the Ravens will look to win their first game of the season after losing in Week 1 to the Cincinnati Bengals 23-16. Steelers’ will try to spoil the Ravens first game in front of the home crowd. Ben Roethlisberger was solid in the Steelers’ win over Cleveland in NFL Week 1 with 365 passing yards, 1 touchdown, and he completed 67.6 percent of his passes. He only threw 1 pick in their narrow 30-27 victory. The Baltimore-Pittsburgh is an AFC North rivalry game; therefore, you should expect some hard hits from both defenses.

Coach Speak: ‘D’ the key for 49ers

Watch the video, I do agree that Justin Smith must create double teams to free up the young but great pass rusher Aldon Smith. Justin is not 100 percent but it is the Super Bowl and he will leave all on the field. Secondary will have to contend with the speedster and deep threat Torrey Smith. When you consider Baltimore Ravens’ Joe Flacco throws one of the best deep balls in the NFL, it could mean a long day for the secondary. Smith will stretch the defense, but expect a lot of intermediate routes to throw the 49ers defense off.
