Robert Griffin III Will He Make A Good NFL Quarterback

From the Sporty Mouth of dev4life | On: Dec 21 2011

Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III has not made a decision to stay in school or become an instant millionaire by entering the NFL draft. Griffin is Baylor University’s first Heisman Trophy winner. If he decides to enter the draft, he will join an already stacked quarterback draft class. It is no secret he would be the best athletic quarterback in the draft if he elected to go. He may be the best athlete in the draft regardless of position.

He is definitely a Top 15 pick and I know some experts say he could be better than Andrew Luck of the University of Stanford, but I will not go that far. Griffin III is good and will automatically be compared to the Philadelphia Eagles’ Michael Vick due in part to his athleticism. However, he may have better arm and is more accurate than Vick was at this stage of his career. A quarterback operating from the spread offense in college will need to improve his play under center at the next level, and Griffin will not be the exception. He will have to improve reading defenses and progressions while dropping back.

Griffin III will have some eye-popping combine numbers and he will more than likely make an entertaining quarterback at the next level. He has not decided if he going to make the leap. He definitely should.
