LSU two -quarterback system may not work against such an exceptional defensive unit of Bama. You need the continuity and rhythm against the Tide. LSU’s ground game is good; therefore, fans should expect a slow-grinding game. The passing attack is somewhat of a push. The three quarterbacks have not faced such an elite defense that both LSU and Alabama have. Two quarterbacks of LSU Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson are very different to what they add to LSU offense. Lee is the better passer and is one of the best quarterbacks according to quarterback rating. He has 157.4 rating. Jordan Jefferson is an improved passer but he is threat to run the football and this could be a difference in the game. It only matters they are not throwing picks and this could change against the Crimson Tide.

Alabama like LSU is not going to pass the ball much; therefore, the passer rating should be taken with a grain of salt. AJ McCarron’ passer rating is 150.4. When you are often handing the ball off to a running back like Richardson and throwing on occasions, your numbers may over exaggerate how good a quarterback may be.

As long as, all quarterbacks can manage the game and limit their turnovers, it would be a game won on the ground.
