LeBron gets ring finally. This may not quiet the critics’ skepticism of LeBron, but you can rest assured he has tuned them out after the Miami Heat’s 121-106 championship-winning victory on Thursday night. James triple double of 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists was a performance for the ages. He clearly was not going to let the NBA Finals go any further as he led the way in an attack that made Oklahoma City Thunder looked clearly outmatched.

James will be most talked about getting his ring, but it would not be possible without great team effort. Mike Miller, he also earned his first ring with last night’s victory, but it is his performance that help end the hope of Thunder of winning a game they needed to win. Miller had 23 points for the game. His 7 three point shots kept the Thunder off-balance, and they could not just concentrate their defensive efforts entirely on Miami’s Big Three.
Both Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh had solid nights. Wade added 20 points and Bosh’s 24 points was enough to get his first ring along with James. Wade adds a second ring and proved that James and he could be dominant and yet act as complements to each other while on the floor. The Decision may have been brash and rubbed people the wrong way; however, bringing three quality players to the same team, it truly worked out.
Thunder throughout the NBA Finals provided a valiant effort. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook kept them in games at times. It was difficult to always have to come from behind against such a great Miami Heat team. With few more moves that will improve their defense, you should expect the rivalry of Durant and James an annual event.
Miami Heat wins a second NBA Title and LeBron gets his first ring along with NBA Finals’ MVP trophy. It was bad night for him. King James’ legacy grows with last night victory. It will be interesting see what next year bring. Hey, for now, they can continue to celebrate being 2012 NBA World Champions.
