NFL Week 5 will be quite interesting. Three games I will have my eye are the Houston Texans versus the San Francisco 49ers, the New Orleans Saints versus the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions versus the Green Bay Packers. I need to see if the Texans can bounce back from a loss that should have been a win for them last week. The 49ers need continue to show they are a Championship caliber team. It is good test for both teams.
The Saints will be tested when they meet the Bears. The Bears have been solid for first month of the season. Chicago must prove they can stop the offensive attack of Drew Brees and company. Many people may wonder why I am talking about the Lions and Packers. It is good rivalry game and the Lions need to show everyone they can win against quality competition. Reggie Bush had a big game last week can there be a repeat performance. Green Bay needs a win against the division leading Lions. Rodgers can get the job done. He is considered to be the best quarterback in the league and for the Packers to do well it will rely on Rodgers’ arm.
There are numerous great games of football to watch. With the Dallas Cowboys playing the best team on the planet, Denver Broncos, you will be looking at an uphill battle for Dallas. Peyton Manning is playing like the best NFL quarterback in the league’s history. The Cowboy’s secondary will have to play its best to have any remote chance of staying close.
