Chris Paul wants out of New Orleans is what buzzing around the Internet and media. If the rumblings are true then the New Orleans Hornets will lose their best player. Paul is not happy that the team around him has not improved as the rest of the Eastern Conference will be very much improved for next season. Hornets have done little in the off-season, and it may just be enough for Paul to do his best Lebron impression and form a Super Group somewhere else.

The somewhere else for Paul has been rumored to be the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, or Los Angeles Lakers. Paul has two years on his current contract; therefore a blockbuster trade would be in order for any team to get him. Paul is possibly the best point guard in the NBA at the moment; therefore, If you are the GM for any of the three teams you pull the trigger and make the trade happening.
Out of the three teams that Paul supposedly expressed interest, the Lakers and Knicks seem like the logical choice for Paul. Both Lakers and Knicks needs a point guard, and the acquisition of Paul will be a considerable upgrade from any of the point guards that are currently on the roster of both teams. It just maybe all talk but I would like for him to join forces with Kobe and Pau Gasol. It would almost guarantee the Lakers completing the three-peat for the second time with Phil Jackson at the helm.
Paul needs to stay in New Orleans for the fans sake. His star power is what draws the crowd in New Orleans and his leaving could be disastrous to the New Orleans’ bottom line. Paul needs some better players around him as Lebron James needed in Cleveland, but did not receive. It may be too late to change Paul’s mind about departing for a better situation, but New Orleans needs to do everything possible to keep Paul.
