Landry Jones of the Oklahoma Sooners is ready to win a Bowl Championship Series Title. He is not Sam Bradford but he is a quarterback that easily stepped out of Bradford’s shadow and made a name for himself.
His accuracy is good, and Jones is able to extend the play when the pocket breaks down. Sooners are lucky to have him because his play will influence how far the Sooners will go. He could have turn pro last season, but he came back to win a National Title. Oklahoma is Pre-season No. 1 in the Associated Press, and Jones has great chance to win his National Title he came back to school to win.
Jones is easily one of the best college quarterbacks that will take the field this season. He has the qualities of becoming good professional, but for now he will contend to leading the Sooners to a championship. Jones will not unseat Andrew Luck of the Stanford Cardinals as the best college QB, they are not too many QBs that are better.

Jones is in the right system for a quarterback. Many would say his numbers are inflated by the Sooners’ offense; however, Jones has the skills to be a very good quarterback anywhere. It is a great luxury to be in a system that makes the quarterback shines and to have good running game. He has all the tools and fans should not worry too much Jones, because the Sooners may run the table.
Jones will find out shortly if he can take Oklahoma all the way to BCS stardom and a title win.
