Breaking news, Kobe Bryant will wear a new NBA jersey in the upcoming season; therefore, Lebron James will not be the only other superstar sporting a new uniform this season. The Lakers’ Fans can thank Adidas for Kobe wearing a new NBA jersey.

Lakers’ fans do not worry, Kobe will be there to lead the three-peat attempt, but he will be wearing a new uniform as all NBA players will wear a new uniform. The new uniforms goes high-tech this season thanks to the sneaker and athletic apparel giant Adidas.

The five things the new NBA jersey will not do:
1. Make the New Jersey Nets a contender
2. Help Steve Nash win Defensive Player of the Year
3. Make Shaquille O’Neal better Free throw shooter than his new teammate Ray Allen
4. Help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Miami Heat when they play
5. It will not stop Kobe and the Lakers from the Three-peat.

The new uniform is supposed to keep the players drier than the previous uniform. It is suppose to help the natural movement of the players. It is also consists of 60 percent recycled material. The new jerseys will do a lot, but I have to wonder if it will not go the route the new NBA basketball took a few years back. The NBA attempted to change the basketball, but that science experiment was a disaster and did not make it to the end of the season.

Change is good and a new uniform may not hurt the NBA in any way. I know the Lakers’ fans are happy to know the new NBA jersey that Kobe Bryant will remain the famous Gold and purple. It is good to see innovation at work now Adidas can only hope the players agree.
