Alabama Crimson Tide weathered the storm of the Arkansas Razorbacks to prevail with a victory by the slimmest of margins. A game winning touchdown happened when Mark Ingram pounded the ball into the end zone from 1 yard out with 3:18 left to go in the game. Crimson Tide’s fans can thank its defense for making the victory possible.

Bama’s defense two interceptions late in the game, all but sealed the fate of the Razorbacks. It was Alabama’s Robert Lester who plucked an errand pass of Ryan Mallet out of the air and returned it 33 yards; henceforth, it led to the game winning touchdown run of Ingram. Ryan Mallet was trying to get rid of the ball, but thanks to a great interception by Dre Kirkpatrick, Mallet threw away the last chance for the Razorbacks to win the game.

It took a 20-7 score to wake up the Crimson Tide, and the onslaught to another victory began. Alabama does not want to cut it that close anymore; therefore, the team cannot lose focus and make uncharacteristic turnovers. Greg McElroy threw two interceptions, and he is normally good decision-maker and accurate quarterback.

Arkansas is the first team to test the Crimson Tide this season, and the Crimson Tide used their defense and great running back to finally get a passing grade. For the majority of the game, the Crimson Tide was on Upset Alert, but it was a false alarm and Bama did not panic. It was 24-20 victory, but it could have easily been Crimson Tide’s first loss. The schedule does not get any easier for the Crimson Tide, because Alabama will face the Florida Gators. A tough schedule is a given in the SEC; therefore, Nick Saban will have his team ready.
