No shocker of the first selection of the NFL Draft, Cam Newton will now have to prove that he can play in the NFL whenever teams will be able to play. It is no longer about the character issues, he now must show the world he is a quarterback willing to do what it takes to get better.

The surprise of the NFL Draft was Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder going to Minnesota Vikings 12th pick. Many agree that this is by far the biggest reach this high in the draft. The quarterback situation has the Vikings truly grasping at straws. Vikings clearly need a veteran, and they may go get Donovan McNabb, but getting Ponder may come back and bite the Vikings.

Dallas Cowboys addresses their offensive line needs by drafting Tackle Tyron Smith of USC. New Orleans Saints drafted former Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram of the University of Alabama. With his draft, will Reggie Bush remain a Saint?

Cincinnati Bengals addressed their quarterback position by drafting Andy Dalton in on the second day. Tampa Bay finally drafts DaQuan Bowers out of Clemson on the second day. His knee is what led to his free fall down the draft board. His knee is a concern and will need an operation eventually.
