Panic Mode or Not in Bean Town?

Boston Celtics starts the shortened NBA season with an 0-3 won-loss record. Most fans are wondering what is up with their Celtics, but they need not worry about the team. The positives the Celtics should gain from this poor start are Brandon Bass is great off the bench and Ray Allen is shooting the ball well. Rajon Rondo is playing at a very high level. However, Kevin Garnett really needs to step up on offense in the absence of Paul Pierce.

Tebow’s Loss or Packers’ Defeat What Are Sports Fans Talking About The Most

Green Bay Packers falls to the Kansas City Chiefs 19-14 and ends the Packers shot at a Perfect season. There was not any late game heroics for Tim Tebow as the Denver Broncos loss to the New England Patriots 41-23. Both games had fans talking because Tebow seems to be media magnet and the Packers have been nearly impossible to stop in the NFL Regular Season.

Broncos usually had slow starts and come storming back to have Tebow to pull the game out in the fourth quarter. However, Denver blazed out of the gate against the Patriots with a 13-7 first quarter score. It looked optimistic for Denver. New England finally got it together. Tom Brady finished the game with 320 yards and 2 touchdown passes. Tebow only managed 194 yards passing without a touchdown pass. However, Tebow ran for 94 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. The Patriots’ defense manage to sack Tebow four times and did not let him threaten the outcome of the game with his dual-threat ability.

Chandler should have Knicks Thinking Playoff Run

Tyson Chandler is known for his defense and he should be a great help to the New York Knicks. Chandler captured a NBA Title with the Dallas Mavericks. The Knicks will need his presence in the middle and his ability to crash the boards. Chandler is not known for his scoring his ability. However, he an athletic center who should get more than a share of his points on fastbreak opportunities.

If Chandler can maintain the level of play that was seen when he played with the Mavericks, the Knicks made a good trade. When you sign a player to a 4-year $56 million, you want immediate results. The Knicks also waived Chauncey Billups to make room for Chandler. Chandler’s numbers with the Mavericks were 10.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 74 games. Chandler has the potential to be a NBA Defensive Player of the Year and the Knicks will need to see such potential on the court this season. He will be a good rim-protector for team that really struggled with interior defense.
